Before each assessment, you must conduct a briefing session with the candidate, explaining the planned assessment tasks, required resources, time commitment, any specialist support available, and potential health and safety considerations. Once the briefing is complete, you will carry out the assessment, make and record the assessment decision, and provide clear, constructive feedback to the candidate. After all assessments are complete, you will conduct a review of the overall assessment process.
Deliver and Facilitate Training (DFT)
- You will deliver six planned training sessions, clearly presenting the learning objectives and utilising a range of delivery techniques to meet learner needs. Before each session, you will brief learners on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements to ensure a safe learning environment. Throughout the sessions, you will follow your session plan structure, delivering activities in the correct sequence while monitoring learner participation and engagement.
- You will be expected to adapt your approach where needed, use language appropriate to your learners’ LLN levels for clarity, and incorporate a variety of teaching aids, resources, and support personnel if applicable. Each session should include opportunities for learners to practise their skills, allowing you to reinforce key learning points and support their development effectively.
