Queensland Funding
In QLD, FIT College is a Skills Assure Supplier for the Career Start program funded by the Queensland Government - Agreement Number QS102935.
As a Skills Assure Supplier, FIT College is approved to deliver the SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness to approved fitness course participants.
Co-contribution fees are payable by fitness course students under the Career Start Program:
- SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness
- Concessional rate: $1750
- Non-concessional rate: $2000
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The program is open to any Queensland resident aged 15 years or over who is no longer at school (with the exception of VET in School students) and is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and on the pathway to permanent residency.
Prospective fitness education students must not have or be enrolled in a certificate III level or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training.
Tasmania
Skills Tasmania endorses our organisation for the Apprentice and Trainee Training Fund (User Choice) - Agreement Number 4884.
FIT College is approved to deliver the SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness and SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness to approved fitness course participants. This training is subsidised by the Department of State Growth, Tasmania.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The program is open to any Tasmanian resident aged 15 years or over who is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and on the pathway to permanent residency.
Prospective fitness education students must not have or be enrolled in a certificate III level or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training.
Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
FIT College is approved to deliver the SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness and SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness as a Skills Capital Supplier to approved fitness course participants
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The program is open to any ACT resident aged 15 years or over who is an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (including humanitarian entrants), or a temporary resident with the necessary visa and on the pathway to permanent residency.
Prospective fitness education students must not have or be enrolled in a certificate III level or higher qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training.
AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS
Government-funded training is available for individuals aged 40 and over through the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers and Skilling Queenslanders for Work programs. Eligible participants can receive government funding, such as up to $2,200 from the Australian Government, to co-fund re-skilling or up-skilling through eligible courses, plus individual career mentoring.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
You must be aged 40 or over, employed or have been unemployed for less than 12 months, and not currently receiving other Australian Government employment assistance.
